And yes, even some Top 40 Classic Rock FM Radio Driven music. The Accidental Brothers formed in the summer of 2007 and have been hitting the Clubs, Bars and Festivals with the coolest blend of Blues, Rock, Soul and Funk to be found. |
| The Accidental Brothers Are: Steve Drew; Guitar, Vocals Whether on stage or behind the scenes as sound engineer, promoter or recording engineer, Steve has been a major player in the Central Iowa music scene. Steve has been guitarist and vocalist for Blue Max, Desolation Township, Jostle The Rubes, solo artist and No Brakes. Doc Lawson; Keyboards, Vocals We are proud to announce that Doc has been inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008 for his work with the legendary '70s rock band, Sky Dancer. Prior to "Dancer" Doc played with the Pelican Peace Project (also in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) A short list of bands that Doc has played in are: Inner Light, Blind Duck, Orphanage, Nebraska, Mike Profit Band, Big John And 6 The Hard Way, One Shot Deal, The Cruz Band, Rock & Roll Boogie Band, Night Wings, Noticeable Difference, Party House, Scotty And The Wingtips, Shibby Cat and No Brakes. Doc's Bands have opened for such rock notables as: REO Speedwagon, Ted Nugent and Bachman Turner Overdrive. The names Doc Lawson and Hammond B3 are synonymous. Mark Jervis; Bass, Vocals Mark's reputation as a bass player stretches from coast to coast. Playing in bands such as: Spectrum, Courier, Sledge Hammer, The Bob Bones Band, Sky High, Shibby Cat and No Brakes, this seasoned performer would be an asset to any touring band...But...eat your heart out...he's an Accidental Brother Kim Ferneau; Drums, Percussion Nearly every artist whom has worked with Kim will invariable say "The guy is a human metronome". Possibly the steadiest drummer on Planet Earth, Kim drives the beat. Jazz influences, passionate blues, and with a couple of tree trunks in his hands, kick ass rock. The Accidental Brothers would be incomplete without him. |
